The following fee changes will take effect for FedEx package shipping services. Please check your FedEx shipping agreement to determine the net impact of these changes on your shipping costs.
Effective Jan. 5, 2026
- FedEx announced a 5.9% average General Rate Increase (GRI) for 2026, impacting both Ground and Express services as announced on October 3, 2025 on their website. For more details see the link below.
Effective Aug. 18, 2025
- FedEx will use a new pricing structure for parcel pickups occurring in the U.S. and Canada.
Effective July 14, 2025
- International package and express freight shipments that exceed the maximum allowed dimensions and weight will be charged the applicable Unauthorized Package Charge or Unauthorized Freight Charge.
- The Additional Handling Surcharge, Oversize Charge, and Ground Unauthorized Package Charge will change.
- The Additional Handling Surcharge weight threshold will decrease from 70 lbs. to 55 lbs. for international package shipments.
Effective June 2, 2025
- There will be changes to the Delivery Area Surcharge ZIP code lists for FedEx U.S. package services.

Effective June 1, 2025
- FedEx will increase the Late Payment Fee from 8% to 9.9% of total past-due invoice balance.
